Blue Bear Inc is 1 year old!

Happy 1st Birthday, Blue Bear Inc!

This week marks one year since we launched. It has been a very challenging year, marked with loss, isolation and burnout, but also a year marked by resilience.

We started Blue Bear Inc as a fully remove software development consultancy, based in Europe but eager to work on projects with diverse, international clients. A year on, we've worked on fascinating digital transformation projects and building sophisticated new APIs. Recently, we've shifted our focus to include defensive cyber security practices and security engineering, which has been very rewarding.

To celebrate, we are donating parts of our profits to two great organizations! Corporate social responsibility is something that is very important to us, and there is no better time to start.

We have donated $500 to the International Association for Bear Research and Management towards their efforts to support bear scientific research around the world. Check out their extensive research map.

We have also donated €500 to the Rainforest Trust to help preserve critical habitat for endangered species around the world. They focus on saving acres of rainforest through land purchases and designations. Each of their projects has been identified as crucial to preserving critical habitat for endangered species.

We are grateful for and want to give a special thanks to our family and friends who have supported us and colleagues who have believed in us through an emotionally draining 2020-2021 year.
